Are you ready to step up your cookie decorating game? This class is the perfect opportunity through the use of airbrushing. Every cookie and a number of the embellishments will be airbrushed. A dual action airbrush will be employed in this class. Airbrush to student ratio is 1:1. We will discuss the pros and cons of working with alcohol based colors and water based colors, layering airbrush colors in the same color family and layering colors in different color families. We will also discuss the function and use of a preset handle and a MAC valve. You will learn how to shade and highlight your cookies and also how to achieve fine lines with your airbrush. We will talk PSI. What it is it and how does it apply to us? We will also discuss stencil work, underspray, overspray, and hot spots. For the detail work in this class, we will move on to micro piping, fondant and wafer paper accents and use a variety of sprinkles to finish these spooky Voodoo babies up. Lunch will be provided. Class is expected to run 7 hrs (plus or minus one hour). Time permitting, we will assemble and disassemble our airbrushes. Recommended age is 12 and up.
